I figured I'd contribute to the assassin class a bit as well.

Here is a link to a good comparison of end-game gear for assassins

I like this guide because he does not push it by saying you should aim for ridiculous goals, such as having 2 Tahabata's swords or 2 extendables.

The gist is to aim for Miragents with weapon and with that to go for the lvl 50 abyss set with weapon. If you get lucky with DP drops, well you are lucky, what can I say.

Take note that acquiring a full Miragent/Fenril set will take maybe a month, and a full abyss set maybe 2-4 months.

Very useful! Anything like this for other classes too?

I'm gonna have to come back early to not miss that!

EDIT: I went to see that OP profile and see if he had any other helpful guides and this one came up about Carving Runes. I never played assassin so I never knew his stuff, but it might be helpful to you as well. In this one he basically tried to figure out what the % damg increase is for the finisher after carving X amount of runes.

Seems like there is only a significant increase up to 3 level, after which it tapers off to a point where the time spent (animation) does not = damg increase, the highest being a mere 300 damg increase (from level 3-5 on Radiant Rune pathway).

Take a look at his graph

The different kind of rune depicts the base damage from which the level of the rune stacked multiplies the damage based on the numbers in the lower part of the graph (x250%, then by x200%, etc)

There is also mention about the Blood rune pathway that has 2 hits to it, first being pure damg and the second (on the conditions that the 1st hit, that your opponent has life to steal, and you have life to gain) it deals extra damg and gives you that damg in life. It wont work if ur at full health and/or if they are gonna die from the 1st hit.
