Perhaps the world needs to cut down on the whole nuclear testing. Cause I'll be god damned if I'm going to be chased by snakes with god damned feet!

haha yeah something like that. Frankly it was 16 inches long and the width of a finger. Dangerous? Probably. agressive? not at all. if she was able to beat it to death with a shoe, it wasn't of a mind to attack her.

Still freaky, but snakes are kinda cute. Mutated snakes need love too...

If I remember some genetics's lessons, the fact is all humans, and other Mammals and any living being have Dormant DNA, that once served us in the past.

Such as Large cats likely have a dormant DNA to grow like Saber like top fangs compared to there current counter parts.

Also like humans who still have the remnants of our primate cousins tails, that while stunted in this day and age actually still exists in a dormant capacity in our DNA.

The fact that this Snake has a limb isn't really all that surprising since limbs where once common to all reptiles. Something however triggered the remnant DNA in it spawning only one leg. What ever did it though... could be anything.

All those scifi shows that talk about people devolving, are in truth partially possible. Although the likely hood of a person actually being able to manage to activate something like that without near impossible to imagine science that alludes us right now, and not killing the subject are probably slim to none. Since inside our DNA strands all that information still exists. It just is no longer active.
