I have been looking for a new gun for a while now (about a week and a half). I was hoping last night I could decide on what to get and I just found more full size pistols that I like. I am looking for a 9mm. I talked to tirial about this last night because I was thinking of getting a Berreta 92f/s and he told me to look up a berreta 90two.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

As I see it.. Why not? You have the right to own one and it is not like I am going to go around shooting people. I have shot a few in my life. Especially when i moved to virginia. I like them and they were fun to shoot.

I'm not sure what the ratio is for people to guns in the states, but here in Canada you're an odd man out if you own a gun that isn't used for hunting... I don't know a single person with a gun other than my police friends.

@Dirtylarry I was thinking of getting a .40, but i favored against it. I know how to handle a gun and I am not going to shoot my eye out.

I used to have a Beretta 92fs and I had zero problems with it. It's super easy to disassemble and clean and it's got a great feel. It's also incredibly durable.

Out of curriosity, why a 9mm? I mean I love 9mm for shooting at the range, etc. But for stopping power a 45 is the way to go. You can shoot someone with a 9 and they'll keep on coming (especially if they're jacked up on PCP, etc). I've been looking at a Colt 1911. It feels the best out of all the pistols in my hand. Shoots more comfortably for me.

That Beretta though, is a sweet pistol.
