Hey guys...As a guy I can only cook so much before having to search for new ideas and things to cook. I pretty much will eat anything. What do you guys love to eat? Do you have the Recipe for it? I'll show you mine, if you show me yours :) Chicken Cordon Blu: 3 Tooth Picks 2-3 Boneless Chicken Breasts (sliced thin) 1/2 pound of swiss cheese sliced 1/4th pound of Ham - Lean 2 cans of Campbell Mushroom Soup 1 Can of Mushrooms 1/4 stick of butter Lay out thin slices of chicken breasts. Proceed to layer Cheese & Ham on each slice of chicken and Roll each one up and pin it with a toothpick. Slowly cook in a deep fry pan with 1/4th stick of butter. Turn chicken slowly so it cooks on all sides. Add mushrooms, mushroom soup, and 1 1/2 cans of water and simmer for 20-30 minutes on Low-Medium Heat. Goes best with rice!

I love to cook and i invented this shizzle myself one day.

Chicken stew african style

500g ground chicken meat -lean

handful of peanuts (peeled. roast them a bit on a pan to get the think skins off easier)

four teaspoons of paprika powder

1/2 teaspoons of chilli powder

diced veg (carrots, runner beans, cauliflower, corn, suede or whicever veg you like)

one cube of beef boullion

butter

1clove of garlic

onion

Melt a bit of butter in saucepan and fry the meat until browned continuesly stirring. Add a bit water and then the chilli and paprika powders. let simmer on low heat. grind the peanuts in a grinder or with a blender (into paste or if you prefer a bit of crunch leave it in small bits). add the peanuts to the simmering meat while adding boiled water (the peanuts soak up alot of moisture, if there is not enough water your mix will burn and get "glued" to the base of the pan. Add minced garlic clove. Add chopped inion. Dissolve the cube of bullion in hot water and pour it in again. Make sure the meat is not swimming. Add the veg. Let it simmer in medium heat while stirring from time to time. It should look like VERY thick soup kinda reddish/yellowish in color. Add more pepper, salt, chilli or paprika to the taste.

Serve with boiled potatoes or pasta. I prefer spaghetti myself.

Enjoy.

My wife makes some great dishes, the only unfortunate thing is she just throws stuff together (what she thinks will be good) and it always seems to turn out awesome.  Oh right, the unfortunate thing about that is she doesn't write down what she did so having the same dish again rarely happens.  I keep telling her she needs to write it down so we can have them again, but she always forgets.

An amazing thing to try is get yourself some boneless-skinlees chicken breasts and some Tom's (or similiar, although not pringles) Jalapeno chips. Crush the chips fine and then bread the chicken in it and bake it. AWESOME tasting.

I found this chicken pie recipe from a old cookbook from Maine. It really is easy to do, and cooks super fast!

Filling:

3 cups chicken (cooked and diced into pieces)

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 small jar pimento (diced small)(don't drain juice)

(Optional things to add)

1 bag shredded cheese (can be any type)

1 cup cooked corn (drained)

1 cup cooked peas (drained and still slightly firm)

Mix all the ingredients together (except cheese) and heat in a sauce pan until it comes to a boil.  Remove from heat.

Crust:

2 cups sifted flour (all purpose)

1 teaspoon soda

2 teaspoons cream of tarter

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup vegetable shortening

1 egg (beaten)

1/2 cup milk

Sift all dry ingredients together. Work the shortening into the flour mixture using pastry blender. Add egg, milk and combine. Divide mixture in half.

Roll out 1/2 the dough mixture to fit the bottom of a pie baking dish. Add the filling mixture, top with cheese. Cover top of filling mixture with the other half of the dough rolled out to fit. Flute the edges together. Cut some vent holes.

Bake in oven at 400 degrees for 18 minutes. Trust me, it will be done at 18 minutes! Slice into pieces and serve.

The dough of this pie is biscuit like and very tasty! When I roll my dough out I use two pieces of saran wrap. One piece I lay flat on a dampened counter top. I place the dough mixture in the middle and lay the other piece of saran wrap on the top and roll out. You can then pick the whole thing up and move it to the pie pan. It makes it very easy.

Manicai's Munchin French Toast

10-12 slices of bread - Preferably a couple days old (not moldy lol) this makes for better egg coatage later.

4 Eggs

1 Cup Milk

1 Tablespoon of sugar or powdered sugar

Cinnamon - Just pepper some in the mix to your liking

1 tablespoon orange extract

1 tablespoon vinilla extract

Mix eggs and milk in a large shallow bowl. Mix in the sugar, cinnamon and the orange and vanilla extract. Heat up pan on medium to low heat. Add some butter to the pan so your french toast doesnt stick!

Dip bread into the mix, a few seconds on each side. Allow the excess to drip back into the bowl. Place toast on the pan and brown each side. Couple minutes on each side should be enough. I'm a fan of cinnamon so I also powder each side of the french toast as it cooks.

Enjoy!
