We've all proven that we love betas, and I'd like to get everyone's harsh opinion of the new vidcast format. So, here ya go!

It was good. The only thing I noticed was that it the video lagged al ittle bit behind the sound around the middle to the end. It wasn't really that bad but I noticed and the only bad thing I noticed.

I liked it.  Is it just me or are you starting to rent some of Tamaki's facial hair?

This format will be very useful when you are trying to explain pathing and maybe guest appearances

could be in the lower left.

The format is awesome, very informative and easy to understand. But its a double edged sword.... By being all professional and informative you were stiff and well.... professional. lol I miss old vidcasts with random bullshit, nothing rehearsed and pure uncensored (tits!) fun right off the bat. The format is excellent, but the spirit of the old vidcasts was out for a drink it seems, i just couldnt feel it.

The format is useful for displays and walkthroughs, but simply having a screen as a background for longer speeches makes it distracting.  Specifically, when you're speaking about the caffienated beverage or USB cupholder (LOL), keeping the visual effect in such a small window makes for a lesser presentation since we cannot see exactly what you're showing us as well..  Perhaps switching the view between the PiP and full-screen would make for an easier time?  Otherwise, there's great potential utility for the format.  The idea of guests as previously mentioned was the first thing I thought of.  Newer site functionality explanations, i.e. training courses seem like a possibility as well.

Off the cuff, seeing the "Rio: /spank" in the Shout Box made me laugh!

Looks good!  2 question?  1)  Why is the top of your screen have a blue bar and my is orange?   2)  I can see the reflection in the window from your other computer that you are viewing while your recording, is this on purposes? (is sometimes gives off a glare and reflection from the room.

I am glad to see the vidcast to come back.  Great sound and great ideals!

I liked it.  Although, I think that it only really works if you have something to talk about regarding the site (or some other demonstration).  For those purposes, it works very nicely.  Is there a way to maxamize your video during the presentation so that you can move fluidly between the different presentation styles during a single vidcast?

Also, and I hate to say this because I know it was just meant as a helpfull hint, but I just can't imagine a gamer not knowing how to install a video driver.  In fact I don't think I know anyone personally that I hang out with that couldn't update their own driver.  I'm assuming that there were some questions posted earlier about it which further amazes me.  I guess it shouldn't be a prereq or anything for getting into a guild/legion.  I mean that would be ridiculus.  It's just that I think the person's gaming experience is somewhat in question if they don't have at least some knowledge of issues common to most gamers at such a base level. I was originally sort of hesitant to call it out as it doesn't really hurt the vidcast any (especially if news is running a little dry).  Anyway, I guess I don't mind it much.  I was just taken aback is all.

You know I thought the basics a PC gamer needs to know about a computer was obvious but I am taking a Compter Literacy class for college (it is mandatory since I go to an online college) and there are actually a lot of people who hardly know anything about a computer ... kind of sad.

I mean I totally get that.  It's just that I wouldn't expect those people to be gamers you know.
