Christmas Time

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to my new found friends in Elysium!
 

I have never been one for all of the hoopla surrounding the holiays...People get a serious case of shopping rage just by going out and trying to get that last present. Not to get out my soapbox and preach, but DAMN! Have we forgotten what this time of year is about? Now I am not religious by any means, but what happened to good will and peace on earth? I think that we need to step back from all the shinyness (sorry Viaki) an be thankful for what we do have....It's not how many presents you get or how much food you can eat...it's about being around family and friends...taking time to be thankful for the little things..Thank your cook of that meal you eat....kiss your wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend...help clean the house....or just take out the garbage or do the dishes..it's the little things that count...
